Grief presence sessions
Calm, one-to-one conversation for people living with grief, loss, and the changed shape of everyday life.
What to expect
After losing a partner, it can be hard to know what kind of support feels right - or whether you need support at all.
Between Echoes offers something simple: a quiet, private, one-to-one conversation with someone who is steady and present. There's no structure to follow, no expectation to open up in a particular way, and no pressure to make sense of how you're feeling.
You can arrive exactly as you are.
What we can talk about
Sometimes the conversation is about grief - the weight of it, the strangeness of it, the way it changes ordinary things.
Sometimes it's about work, family, a memory that surfaced, something that happened that week, or nothing in particular. There's no wrong direction.
You don't need to explain why you're here or justify what you want to talk about. Both grief and ordinary conversation are welcome in equal measure.

What this is not
Between Echoes is not counselling, therapy, coaching, or crisis support. If you're looking for clinical care or structured therapeutic work, this service won't be the right fit.
If you're in crisis or need urgent help, please reach out to the Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24 hours) or CALM on 0800 58 58 58 (5pm–midnight). Both are UK-based services available to anyone in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Between Echoes grew from personal experience of loss - and from knowing how much it can matter just to have someone steady to talk to.
